Every silver piece is handcrafted from an eco-friendly material called PMC (Precious Metal Clay) which transforms into solid silver during a firing process in the kiln.  The modern style is timeless and the designer loves to finish her unique jewelry pieces with lustrous freshwater pearls.

About the Artist and The Special Material PMC

Claudia Amling-MacFarland's jewelry creations are unique and timeless in style. She is deeply inspired by the beautiful nature and beaches around her beachy home in Santa Cruz. She sends all these wonderful good vibes out into the world, reflected in her unique jewelry designs. Her handcrafted artisan designs show excellent workmanship and a passion for versatility. Claudia's work is also deeply influenced by her European upbringing and her passion for travels and cultures. It brings her joy to hear from her customers how they just feel good wearing her modern and timeless designs.

ALL HANDMADE

Claudia is focusing her passion of creating unique and timeless jewelry: She loves creating her original components with PMC (Precious Metal Clay) an Eco-friendly “green” material which uses partially recycled photographic and x-ray silver. Every piece is handcrafted with love in Santa Cruz, CA, U.S.A.

Due to the unique opportunities and restrictions of the silver clay material the artist is working with, every silver piece turns out a little bit different.

Even if she'd wanted to, Claudia can't create two pieces exactly alike! In the artist's opinion, this is the charm of working with PMC (Precious Metal Clay) and got her hooked to working with this different kind of silver/metalsmithing work.

Our Story

Claudia Amling-MacFarland was born and raised in Southern Germany. All her life she created and has done something “artsy.” She crafted, she painted, she designed her own clothes, she worked in mixed media and a lot more. She loves using recycled materials and reusing things. Why not? It’s fun!

After a busy Marketing career in Germany, with an emphasis in Branding, she moved to the US, Santa Fe, New Mexico and decided to pursue her true calling. Art. After painting and mixed media she found her true passion after the moved to Santa Cruz, CA.
